Gush Shalom's assertion that toys, medicine and baby milk are included in any boycott of Gaza are an outrage. Not only is this a flagrant lie, not backed up by a hint of credible evidence, but moreover, alongside their description of Ehud Barak as 'really the leader of the extreme right' indicates just how far off the rails Gush Shalom's output has become. We need credible peace organisations that do not slander with lies but make the government accountable with evidence.

In any case, I haven't seen anything in the media or on here about the months of rocket barrages, truly and explicitly designed to kill children, and though it strikes me as unlikely that a policy of curtailing fuel deliveries (electricity is unaffected) will stop the rockets, those who too often talk of Hamas as some sort of legitimate - even benign - government should tell me when exactly I can expect them to alter or postpone the implementation of a policy as a result of a challenge by the populace in the high-court.

Gazan's suffering is on account of Hamas and their policies. Period. Stop the rockets, sign a settlement, live in peace with all you wish for in abundance!
